The main attraction, this concrete dam creates a vast reservoir surrounded by hills. Go boating, take a stroll, or just relax with mountain views and misty air.
Zoom across the lake in a speed boat or row gently in a pedal boat. Boat rides are managed by DTPC Munnar and include safety gear.
Just a few minutes away is the Indo-Swiss Livestock Project, where high-yield cattle are bred in pristine mountain meadows. Entry is limited but the surrounding scenery is worth a stop.
Look out for gaurs, elephants, and rare birds that come to the lake’s edge to drink water, especially during early mornings and evenings.
