Goa is well-connected via NH66 and NH748, especially from cities like: Mumbai (12–14 hrs) via NH66 Pune (10 hrs) via NH748 Bangalore (10–11 hrs) via Hubli Prefer buses? Take Volvo AC sleeper or semi-sleeper from Pune, Mumbai, or Bangalore. Drop points vary — check proximity to your hotel before booking.

By Train

Goa’s major railway stations are: Madgaon (South Goa) – Best for Palolem, Colva, etc. Thivim (North Goa) – Closest to Baga, Anjuna, Vagator Vasco da Gama – Less touristy, but well-connected Trains from Mumbai, Pune, Bangalore, and Delhi run daily. Book through IRCTC or station counters. Sleeper class is affordable, but AC coaches = comfier ride.

By Air

Goa is served by two airports — Dabolim Airport (GOI) in South Goa and the newer Manohar International Airport (GOX) near Mopa in North Goa. From Delhi/Mumbai/Bangalore: Multiple daily direct flights (2–3 hours) Local hack: Land in Mopa if your stay is in North Goa, Dabolim for South Taxis, prepaid cabs, and GoaMiles app are available outside both airports.
